John and I wanted to get pictures of our new family. Since it was horribly cold outside we did the shoot in our bedroom. Looking back at these pictures I can’t believe how tiny she was! She is 9 days old.
What John had to say on his blog about this shoot: “I’ve never been great about keeping a journal to record my life, but I always try to document my life in photos. Last week, we decided to set up a little family shoot at our house. It’s been amazing to have this time with Emily and Eliza. Every day I wake up and tell Em…’I cannot believe we are parents and that this (Eliza) is our beautiful daughter.’ I could just stare at her for hours. I love everything about her, the way she smiles when she poops, her hiccups, her black hair, her tiny hands, and of course the way she smells. She makes me so happy!“

ok seriously. she is one of the most beautiful babies i've ever seen. really. how perfect is she?! you guys are such a perfect little fam! Emily you look fabulous for just giving birth!!
p.s. this is REALLY making me miss those ITTY BITTY newborn days!!! aaaaah. they grow so fast!! :(
